Free curriculum, for free people, to shape free souls

For centuries, the four cardinal virtues - wisdom, courage, temperance, and justice - have stood at the heart of classical education and Christian moral teaching. The ancients saw them as the pillars of a well-ordered life, guiding individuals toward harmony within themselves and with society. Wisdom directs our choices, courage strengthens us in hardship, temperance disciplines our desires, and justice orders our relationships. Understood through the Christian worldview, these virtues find their true fulfillment in Christ, who is both the source and model of virtue. To pursue them is not merely to polish conduct, but to shape the soul itself, forming men and women who live in God's truth, beauty, and goodness into the image of Jesus Christ.

Below you will find a full and free high-school curriculum based on these four cardinal virtues. Starting with Wisdom in 9th grade. Monday-Tuesday the student will have a reading followed by a series of questions. Wednesday the student will be asked to compare/contrast the readings from Monday and Tuesday. Thursday is another day of reading and questions. Then every Friday the student is asked to create a thoughtful ordered essay synthesizing the week's readings.

Also, you will find four free versions of the First 100. The whole aim is to expose the younger grades to the 100 great ideas. The goal was to provide graded approaches to the same material so that whether you want start this study for your student in kindergarten on later, we have introductory material. There is a beginning definition followed by short story illustrating the idea or definition, followed by copy work, and finally memory work with the aim to memorize all 102 great ideas.

Use this free material however you like - copy, edit, and share. Enjoy!
